About Us
When St. David's Care in the Community first opened its doors in 1978, it pioneered the concept of integrating individuals with learning and physical disabilities into everyday community life, proudly setting a precedent ahead of its time.
Our foundation was laid by professionals steeped in special education and social work, dedicated to upholding the values of a Christian way of life.
Our unwavering commitment entails providing lifelong support to residents aged 18 and above, throughout all 52 weeks of the year. This comprehensive care encompasses ongoing educational endeavours and engaging social activities, all meticulously crafted within individualised programs tailored to the unique preferences, abilities, and aspirations of each resident.
St. David’s Care in the Community manages five registered homes nestled in the heart of St. David’s, Pembrokeshire. We cater to individuals with varying degrees of dependency, offering a spectrum of accommodation options ranging from supported living to high-dependency, specialised care. In the event of a vacancy in any of our homes, we warmly extend the opportunity for a trial visit to ensure a seamless and comfortable transition for prospective residents.
